Taichung Branch of Bureau of Industrial Parks of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, has honored firefighter Que Hai-Long with the title of "Exemplary Model of Probity" for his outstanding performance in promoting an incorrupt atmosphere and contributing significantly to public service. Que Hai-Long, through his professional expertise and innovative thinking, successfully developed a cloud map for firefighting and disaster response, enhancing the collaborative capabilities of various units within the industrial park and the Taichung City Fire Department, thereby effectively improving the safety level of the industrial park.
On December 4, 2023, the Bureau of Director-General, Yang, Po-Keng, personally commended Que Hai-Long during a management meeting, highly praising his innovation and professional spirit. Director-General Yang pointed out that Que Hai-Long not only excelled within his responsibilities but also proactively learned new technologies beyond his job scope, applying them to enhance safety management within the industrial park. Director-General Yang emphasized that Que Hai-Long's achievements are not only a personal honor but also a model for the entire organization, hoping that his accomplishments will inspire more public servants to pursue excellence.
Every year, the Ministry of Economic Affairs selects an exemplary model of probity to commend public servants who actively fulfill their duties and demonstrate a sense of accountability in the public sector. The firefighter of Taichung Branch, Que Hai-Long, made significant contributions to safety management within the industrial park by voluntarily acquiring information technology expertise and integrating it with firefighting and safety knowledge during his spare time. The cloud map for firefighting and disaster response development by him not only integrates crucial data such as hazardous materials information and floor plans of park manufacturers but also provides a rapid response mechanism, enabling relief workers to quickly locate disaster areas and take effective measures. The map is provided free and charge to various units within the industrial park and the Taichung City Fire Department, fostering collaboration between government agencies and public-private sectors, promoting efficiency, and saving public funds while ensuring the safety maintenance of the industrial park.
