Congressman Marc Veasey Re-Appointed To Serve on House Committee on Energy & Commerce

WASHINGTON - Today, Congressman Veasey announced that he was recently re-appointed to serve on the House Committee on Energy & Commerce in the 118th Congress. He will serve on the Subcommittee on Energy, Climate, and Grid Security as well as the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology.

"I am honored to once again serve on the Energy and Commerce Committee in the 118th Congress because it allows me to resolve some of the most pressing issues that face my constituents in Texas' 33rd District," said Congressman Veasey. "Alongside Ranking Member Frank Pallone and my colleagues on this committee, I will continue to protect affordable and accessible health care, fight for our nation's energy security, protect our grid security, expand access to broadband, and more.

The Committee has wide jurisdiction over issues important to Texas' 33rd Congressional District and the state of Texas as a whole, including broadband expansion, energy, and access to health care. The Energy & Commerce Committee is the oldest standing legislative committee in the U.S. House of Representatives and has the broadest jurisdiction of any congressional authorizing committee.
