Empowering Military Spouses Through Lowe's Military Spouse Sales Specialist Fellowship

Every year since 1984, the Friday before Mother's Day has been dedicated to military spouses across every branch. This year is no different, and Lowe's, known for its steadfast commitment to the military, continues this support by honoring our exceptional military spouses. In fact, 7% of Lowe's overall hiring in 2023 came from the military community. As a top military spouse-friendly employer, Lowe's is joining in on the celebration of these dedicated individuals and the sacrifices they make by highlighting the Lowe's Military Spouse Sales Specialist Fellowship.

One of the unique challenges in a military spouse's life is the constant change-in terms of command, communities, and location, military members and their families are always on the move. As a wife to an Air Force Combat Controller, Sonnia Grossman experienced this firsthand, relocating across the country five times for her husband's job and finding it difficult to find an employer that would hire her, knowing she'd be moving in the next years.
