The structural capping ceremony for the core area project of Ningbo Oriental University of Technology (temporary name) and the lifting ceremony for the first steel beam of the library dome were recently held. This is a milestone in the construction process of the school.

Ningbo Oriental University of Science and Technology (temporary name) is a new type of research-oriented university organized by social forces, supported by the state, and jointly constructed by Zhejiang Province and Ningbo City. It is small but refined, characterized by high starting point, high level, and internationalization. In December 2022, the permanent campus of the school was launched and started construction with the Yongjiang Science and Technology Innovation Zone.

The permanent campus, built along the water, will be an ideal place for reading and learning after completion.
