Discovery Street traffic shift: Starting early next week, traffic will be shifted to the north side of the road and construction work will begin on the south side of Discovery Street. Crews will demolish and rebuild the pavement, sidewalks and gutters.

Discovery Street reopened: Once traffic is shifted and work begins, the Discovery Street detour will reopen between Via Vera Cruz and Applewilde Drive.

Discovery Street sound wall: A few weeks after crews switch work to the south side of Discovery Street, construction of a sound wall will begin between Via Vera Cruz and Craven Road. This sound wall will help to protect residents from noises from the street. Construction will happen during the same time as the Discovery Street improvements and could take up to 5 months to construct.

Discovery to Twin Oaks Extension: Crews are working on the Discovery Street extension to Twin Oaks Valley Road. Once completed, the City will strategically schedule opening the road to prevent cut-through traffic and maintain the safety of construction crews and low traffic volume for residents near the Creek project.
