Unleash your inner geek and join the [#b_hack] 2024 in Lübeck, Germany on 18-21 July 2024. Themed "Bridging Borders, Shaping the Future", this hackathon aims to unbridle the creative and technological potential of youths to enhance regional identity and foster sustainable development in the Baltic Sea Region.
The Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) and its partners invite young innovators to the [#b_hack] 2024, a hackathon set to take place in Lübeck, Germany on 18-21 July 2024. Under the theme of titled "Bridging Borders, Shaping the Future", this event is designed to harness the creativity and technological skills of young people from across the Baltic Sea Region.
[#b_hack] aims to bring together dynamic individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 who are from or residing in CBSS Member States - Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, and Sweden. The event will focus on various challenges that aim to enhance the regional identity and foster sustainable development within the Baltic Sea Region.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in one of eight hackathon themes:
The hackathon sessions will be coordinated by specialists from the Technische Hochschule Lübeck (TH Lübeck), ensuring participants have access to necessary data sets and tools for their projects. The culmination of the event will see presentations delivered to VIP officials from Schleswig-Holstein and the CBSS, showcasing the innovative solutions devised by the young [#b_hack] attendees.
Successful applicants will enjoy an all-expenses-paid experience, including travel, accommodation at the niu Rig Hotel, and most meals. The immersive event not only offers a platform to innovate and collaborate but also an opportunity to explore the historic city of Lübeck.

The event is organised and financed by the German Land of Schleswig-Holstein, in collaboration with the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) and the Technische Hochschule Lübeck (TH Lübeck).
