University expands international links with Morocco business degree partnership

The University of Huddersfield has expanded its international links via a partnership with NCUK aimed at delivering a UK Higher Education in Morocco.

The agreement will see the University work with a NCUK Study Centre in Casablanca to give their Business Management students the chance to gain a top-up Bachelor's degree by completing their third year of studies in the UK - at the award-winning Huddersfield Business School.

Casablanca International Study Centre, owned by London Private Academy, will deliver the NCUK International Year One and Year Two Business Management programmes in Morocco.

Upon successful completion these students will transition to the University of Huddersfield's campus to undertake their Year Three studies in Business Administration - with the partnership ensuring a smooth academic progression as well as maintaining the high standards of education upheld by both institutions.

Students will be given the opportunity to study for their University of Huddersfield Bachelor's degree in Business in one of eight specialisms, which are:

BA (Hons) Business Administration and Management; BA (Hons) Global Marketing; BA (Hons) Hospitality Business Management; BA (Hons) Human Resource Management; BA (Hons) International Business; BA (Hons) Business Accounting; BA (Hons) Business with Financial Services; and BA (Hons) Trade and Investment.

The collaboration marks a significant step forward in accessibility to a UK Higher Education and underscores a commitment to fostering academic excellence between Morocco and the United Kingdom.

The agreement itself was signed in the presence of Rob Butler MP, the British Prime Minister's Special Envoy to Morocco, and Tom Hill, the UK Consul General in Casablanca on 2 March 2024.
