Annual Town Meeting Continues Tonight!

The 2024 Annual Town Meeting reconvenes tonight, May 8, at 5:00 p.m. in the Mary P. Walker High School Auditorium. Check in begins at 4:00 p.m. Overflow seating will be available in the gym.

Reminders:

• Eating and drinking (except water) are prohibited in the auditorium.
• There will be a limited number of printed warrant booklets available at the meeting - we encourage those who already have a booklet to bring it with them tonight.

Day 1 Recap:

The first session of the Annual Town Meeting concluded at 10:30 p.m. yesterday, with attendance reaching around 1,300 voters at its peak. A total of 84 out of the 112 warrant articles were voted on. 37 articles were called for discussion, and we have addressed 10 of these, including article 12 - which we began discussing, and will continue tonight. This leaves 27 additional articles that still need to be discussed.
