Highway Lane Closures
State Routes 4, 12, 26 & 49

Calaveras County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various lane closures on State Route 4 (SR-4), SR-12, SR-26 and SR-49 for maintenance and construction operations. Work to occur as follows;

State Route 4

• Intermittent traffic breaks (10-minutes) from Bonanza Mine to Appaloosa Road for construction beginning Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from Douglas Flat/Main Street to Anrey Court for utility work on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

State Route 12

• One-way traffic control from Comanche Parkway to Burson Road for striping work beginning Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control at Southworth Road for striping work beginning Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control at Pettinger Road for striping work beginning Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from Double Springs Road to the Passing Lane for utility work beginning Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 26

• Long-term one-way traffic control at South Fork Mokelumne River Bridge for bridge/guardrail work through Sunday, June 30, 2024.

• Long term one-way traffic control at North Fork Mokelumne River Bridge for bridge/guardrail work through Sunday, June 30, 2024.

• One-way traffic control at Milton Road East for striping work beginning Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control from Garner/Olive Orchard to Hagen Court for striping work beginning Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control at Paloma Road (left) for striping work beginning Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control at Ridge Road (right) for striping work beginning Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

• One-way traffic control at Barney Way for striping work beginning Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 49

• One-way traffic control at Poole Station Road for striping work beginning Monday, May 13, through Friday, May 17, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect five to 10-minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
