Grassley, Ernst to Hold Service Academy Virtual Informational Nights

WASHINGTON - Sens. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) will host two virtual informational events for Iowa students interested in applying to U.S. military academies in the fall of 2025 or 2026. The 2024 U.S. Service Academy Virtual Informational Nights will be held on Monday, April 29 and Tuesday, April 30.

Representatives from all five service academies will be available to answer questions about the application and nomination process. The Monday session will be attended by representatives from the Air Force Academy and the Military Academy at West Point. The Tuesday session will be attended by representatives from the Coast Guard Academy, the Naval Academy and the Merchant Marine Academy. Each year, Grassley and Ernst nominate current and future Iowa high school graduates for a select few academy positions.
