The National Assembly will hold an extraordinary session on 24 January 2023 at 10.00 o'clock

The National Assembly will hold an extraordinary session on 24 January 2023 at 10.00 o'clock. The order for convening the session was issued by the President of the National Assembly, Vezhdi Rashidov, and is based on Art. 78, item 1 of the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The agenda of the session includes a bill to denounce the Agreement on the Establishment of the International Investment Bank and its Statute and the Agreement on the Organization and Operation of the International Bank for Economic Cooperation, a second vote on amendments to the Bulgarian Sign Language Act and a hearing of the Interim Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikolay Milkov, in connection with another case of physical abuse of Bulgarians and Bulgarian citizens in the Republic of North Macedonia. The program envisages that the National Assembly will hold debates on an inquiry to the Interim Minister of Environment and Water, Rositsa Blagova, to remove 9,000 tons of illegal waste in the city of Pleven and parliamentary scrutiny.
