On the morning of April 16, at the cargo station of Ningbo Lishe International Airport, the customs logistics monitoring section of Ningbo Airport Customs is supervising a postal vehicle from Hangzhou.

In recent years, Ningbo Customs has actively coordinated the routes and logistics resources of Hangzhou and Ningbo, and strengthened cooperation in the customs transit business of postal parcels. Since the beginning of this year, with the advantages of airport capacity and customs policies, it has attracted a large number of cross-border parcels from Ningbo to transfer out of the country.

According to the statistics of the airport customs, in the first quarter of this year, Ningbo Airport Customs supervised a total of 170.68 tons of outbound postal parcels, an increase of 164.43% year-on-year, of which 83.51% of the postal parcels were transferred from Hangzhou to Ningbo Airport.

The first day to place an order on the e-commerce platform, the next day the goods are on the way to "fly", which may be the most willing thing for cross-border e-commerce consumers, and behind this is the need for silky transportation and customs clearance.

"Today, there are at least three in-transit parcels from Hangzhou a week, and the vast majority of them are cross-border e-commerce platform businesses. Because this kind of business has high requirements for timeliness, convenience and cost-effectiveness, we have also formulated the measures for the supervision and cooperation of outbound mail transit, and refined a series of process regulations such as declaration, transshipment and verification of postal parcels across customs areas. Jiang Ningning, deputy chief of the logistics monitoring section of Ningbo Airport Customs, informed that at present, the airport customs and Hangzhou Customs, postal enterprises maintain active communication, and by a special person responsible for the export parcel transit work, the implementation of "7×24" hours of overtime, to achieve "zero delay" in the inspection and release of export parcels.
