Filip Zubčić stopped in the 1/8 Finals of PGS in Chamonix (FRA), finished 12th. Good results for other Croatian team members at EC and FIS races!

Filip Zubčić had 11th time in morning's Parallel Giant Slalom World Cup Qualifications in Chamonix, France and qualified for the Finals among 32 racers fighting for the WC points. He skied against American Tommy Ford. In the first qualification race American was 9 hundredths ahead on the blue course but in the second elimination run, when they changed courses, Filip Zubčić achieved 13 hundredths better time. Both of them, with final total time, secured places in the Finals.

In the first 1/16 Finals run Croatian skier was on the red course and finished 6 hundredths behind Lucas Braathen (NOR) but with a great second run on the blue course he compensated that and went to the 1/8 Finals with an advantage of just one hundredth.

Next Filip's opponent was Simon Maurberger from Italy who had a luck to pick a slightly better blue course and won by 34 hundredths.

Filip Zubčić finished total 12th and again won World Cup points (22).

Winner was Swiss Loic Meillard ahead of his teammate Thomas Tumler and German Alexander Schmid in third place.

Good results came today from other races. At Europa Cup slalom race in Berchtesgaden (GER) Istok Rodeš was 6th, Elias Kolega 9th, Matej Vidović 17th and Samuel Kolega 21st.

At FIS slalom race in Krakauebene (AUT) Leona Popović won podium, 2nd place and Ida Štimac was 6th.

Congrats to all!
