Alley Cats Entertainment breaks ground in Burleson
Alley Cats Entertainment, along with city officials, broke ground on their 40,000-square-foot family entertainment venue at 1258 SW Alsbury Boulevard Thursday, September 22, 2022.
"We are thrilled for you to join our community," said Burleson's Mayor, Chris Fletcher, during the groundbreaking ceremony. "This is something that families in the area have wanted for a very long time."
"Connie and I are really excited to operate a business here in Burleson and be part of the community," stated Brian Smith on behalf of himself and his wife Connie, owners of Alley Cats Entertainment. "We've been treated very well by the entire Burleson team and it does not go unnoticed."
LSI Construction is the general contractor for the project and Fitzgerald and Associates is the architectural firm that has been working to design the facility.
"This journey began over eight years ago," said Alex Philips, City of Burleson Economic Development Director. The Economic Development team stated, "We are ecstatic to bring a family entertainment venue to Burleson that fits the City's vision and one that will have far-reaching impact for everyone in the community."
The amenities will include an arcade with virtual reality, 24 lanes of bowling, 1950s-themed miniature golf, batting cages, laser tag and new to Alley Cats Entertainment, electric go-karts and pickle ball.
The project is hopeful of completing construction by the end of summer 2023.
