Sewer Pipe Survey in Harbor Beach

The City of Fort Lauderdale and Miller Pipeline, LLC will be inspecting a sewer main in the Harbor Beach neighborhood.

The line, which measures between 8 and 12 inches in diameter, runs along E Lake Drive, River Lane, Haskins Avenue, A1A / Seabreeze Boulevard / SE 17 Street, Mayan Drive and S Ocean Drive.

Crews will record video within the pipe to document its condition. The information gained through this assessment will be used to schedule future maintenance and rehabilitation activities with the goal of increasing the reliability of the sewer system.

This work is expected to begin on Monday, April 1, 2024, and is expected to be completed in May 2024. Work will take place Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on City roads and between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on A1A. This schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • One lane in each direction of A1A / Seabreeze Boulevard / SE 17th Street may be closed Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. while crews access the sewer pipe from various manholes within the road.
  • Work on E Lake Drive, River Lane, Haskins Avenue, S Ocean Drive and Mayan Drive will not require lane closures.
  • Access to driveways will be maintained.
  • Please follow posted signs and drive with caution in the area.

Thank you for your patience as we strive to upgrade our wastewater system as quickly as possible.
