April 18 | The dArTe launches ALUMNI ARCHITECTURE: the stories of excellent graduates from the Università Mediterranea

On April 18th at 3.30 pm in room A3 at Architecture in the Cittadella of the Università Mediterranea, the series of seminars begins which hosts former graduates of the Mediterranean School of Architecture, who become part of the ALUMNI ARCHITECTURE Register.

The first story is told by the Arch. Giacomo Sicuro of GAS Studio (Milan), in May and June the stories of Giamila Quattrone, Valentina Grasso, Alessandro Perri will follow.

"ALUMNI, is the initiative of the Degree course in Architecture, which recognizes the stories of excellence of former graduates in Architecture at the Università degli Studi Mediterranea di Reggio Calabria and invites them to tell the stories to students and teachers, in a seminar promoted from the Degree Course, from the Orientation commission, from the representatives and from the student associations MUSA and ICARO, the life, educational and professional path faced in the years following university education. A way to trace the experiences and profiles of those who have attended our School of Architecture and who commit themselves every day to testifying to the beauty, the meaning, the importance of being an architect in an ever contemporary, ever future world. ALUMNI is our story that grows every day, in many parts of the world, starting from our classrooms."

The seminars for the 2023-24 academic year will close in October 2024; for the 2024-25 academic year the new cycle will start in November 2024.

All the Università Mediterranea teachers, researchers and students of Architecture, students of higher institutes and those who may be interested in rediscovering the possible future from an important historical past are invited to the Seminar Series.
