The Orange County Sheriff's Department ("OCSD") responded to public complaints on February 24 about a group of individuals recklessly riding e-bikes on major streets throughout the city. OCSD Deputies were able to respond and confiscate numerous e-bikes that were operating illegally on the streets.

Chief of Lake Forest Police Services Captain Christine Berryman gave the City Council a presentation on March 5 about OCSD's actions taken to address the reckless operation of e-bikes.
