'Need [sic] to talk about this.'
With one text, Corrupt Carlos Giménez began the process of making voting harder for his constituents by stopping the use of the American Airlines Arena as an early-voting venue in Miami-Dade County.
As the Miami Herald reports, the Arena and the Miami Heat had been working closely with Miami-Dade county to use the arena in an effort to promote easily accessible and safe early voting, something which Corrupt Carlos apparently doesn't support.
Of course, this doesn't come as too much of a surprise given that in 2018, Giménez blocked requests to open early voting sites in Miami-Dade college campuses, even after a judge ruled that his refusal showed a 'stark pattern of discrimination.'
'Corrupt Carlos Giménez's years-long record of trying limit voting capacity for his constituents is politics at its worst and he must immediately recuse himself from any and all decisions surround the upcoming election,' said DCCC Spokesperson Sarah Guggenheimer. 'Corrupt Carlos clearly knows that when South Florida turns out to vote they'll reject his brand of corruption that puts himself, his family, and his corporate donors ahead of everyone else. Unfortunately for him, voters clearly aren't deterred by his actions and are still turning up in record numbers to make their voices heard.'
