I-579 Inspections Sunday, Monday in Pittsburgh

​Pittsburgh, PA - PennDOT District 11 is announcing inspection activities on the ramp carrying southbound Bedford Avenue traffic over I-579 (Crosstown Boulevard) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will occur Sunday and Monday, April 7-8 weather permitting.

Single-lane and shoulder restrictions will occur each day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the following locations:

  • I-579 northbound (outbound) just north of the I-579 CAP

  • I-579 southbound (inbound) just north of the I-579 CAP

  • Bedford Avenue ramp to southbound I-579/I-376 West

Crews from the Markosky Engineering Group, Inc. will conduct the inspections.
