New York Fed to Host Press Call on the Region's Employment Trends

NEW YORK-The Federal Reserve Bank of New York will host its next regional economic press call on Tuesday, May 7, at 10:00 AM.
The event will feature opening remarks from Kartik Athreya, director of research and head of the Research & Statistics Group, and a discussion with New York Fed economists. The call will cover the forthcoming Liberty Street Economics blog post on job performance across the Federal Reserve's Second District. The discussion will focus on the uneven geographic recovery from the pandemic recession, including worker availability and how the New York-Northern New Jersey region has fared relative to the nation.
The call, which will take place via webinar, will be open to members of the press and on the record, with an opportunity for participants to ask the economists questions on the regional economy and the associated blog post. Please see the event page for more information and additional resources.
