Dublin Airport welcomes the return of Aer Lingus direct service to Minneapolis

Dublin Airport has today welcomed the return of Aer Lingus' direct service to Minneapolis-St Paul.

The renewed route from Dublin Airport to Minneapolis-St. Paul in Minnesota will operate four times weekly, offering passengers increased access to the vibrant city.

Dublin Airport Managing Director Gary McLean said the restart of the route is good news for both passengers and the economy: "The return of this route will further enhance tourism and trade between Ireland and the US. We have been working closely with Aer Lingus to grow its North American business, and the reintroduction of this route is a testament to that partnership."

Passengers traveling from Dublin to Minneapolis-St. Paul can expect to enjoy the city's diverse cultural scene, picturesque lakes, and renowned dining options. Additionally, Minneapolis offers convenient onward connections to various destinations in the UK, Europe, and North America, making it an attractive hub for international passengers.

The route will be proudly serviced by the cutting-edge A321XLR aircraft, joining the fleet to ensure passengers experience enhanced comfort and efficiency during their journey.

Passengers travelling on Aer Lingus' new service to Minneapolis-St. Paul will use US Pre Clearance facilities at Dublin Airport meaning passengers save time on arrival in the US by completing all the necessary immigration and customs checks prior to departure. The only queue a pre-cleared passenger encounters on arrival in the US is the taxi queue to their final destination.
