Is this your stolen property? – Beauval recover significant amount of stolen property

Beauval RCMP are trying to reconnect the owners of stolen property to items recovered as part of a recent investigation.

During the early morning hours of July 24, 2023, Beauval RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle gaining access to Canoe Lake First Nation after it was refused entry to the community. The lone male occupant then abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. The male, identified as 55-year-old Danton Dumont from Hafford, was located and arrested on the evening of July 24, 2023 by Beauval RCMP. He also had an outstanding warrant of arrest out of North Battleford in relation to Operating a Conveyance While Prohibited and Fail to Attend Court.

As a result of extensive investigation, it was determined that the truck, a Ford F350 crew cab, had been reported stolen to Saskatoon Police Service on or about June 1, 2023. A significant amount of stolen property was recovered from the vehicle. Subsequent investigation has determined the thefts occurred across Central and West Saskatchewan over the past two months including in the communities of Saskatoon, Borden, Biggar and the Lloydminster area. Items include:

  • Lots of tools
  • A slip tank
  • DVDs and cables

If you believe your stolen items may be part of this investigation, please contact Beauval RCMP at 306-288-6400. You will be asked to describe the items and serial numbers are helpful to provide, if you have them available.
