Deputy Ministers Reginah Mhaule and Nobuhle Nkabane lead Back-to-School Outreach Programme and Career EXPO in Cala, 31 Jan

The Deputy Minister of Basic Education Dr Reginah Mhaule and Deputy Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy Dr Nobuhle Nkabane, will tomorrow, Wednesday 31 January 2024 lead a Back-to-School Outreach Programme and Career EXPO at Bathandwa Ndondo Secondary School in Cala, Sakhisizwe Local Municipality in the Eastern Cape.

During the programme, learners will be exposed to various career opportunities in the mining and energy sectors, while also being encouraged to pursue Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects. The programme is part of the DMRE drive to ensure that the mining and energy sectors have adequate supply of critical skills required to ensure sustainability.
