DEA Drug Take Back Day

The Placentia Police Department is pleased to participate again in the DEA National Prescription Drug Take Back Day 2024! This drive-thru event will be held in the Civic Center parking lot from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on April 27th, 2024. #TakeBackDay is a free event for communities nationwide to properly dispose of old and unneeded medications safely and anonymously.

On Saturday, April 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., bring those old and unneeded medications to the Placentia Civic Center parking lot for proper disposal.

Unused or expired prescription medications are a public safety issue. Proper disposal of unneeded drugs saves lives and protects the environment and our community.
