There's no need to drive to the Gloria Molina Grand Park's NYELA Countdown to 2024 on Sunday night - our A, B, D and E Line trains all stop near Grand Park and all Metro trains and buses are free from 9pm Sunday until 2am Monday.

We're also running rail service all night on New Year's Eve for those who want to stay up late, get up early - or both!

To ride to Grand Park:

B/D Lines: Use Civic Center/Grand Park Station

A/E Lines: Use Historic Broadway Station or the Grand Av Arts/Bunker Hill Station

To plan your trip: use Google Maps, Apple Maps, the Transit app, Moovit app or metro.net. Please see the system map below.

Outside of free hours, regular Metro fares apply - $1.75 one-way including two hours of free transfers or $3.50 roundtrip. You can purchase a TAP fare card and fares at TAP machines at all Metro Rail and Busway stations.

The Grand Park celebration includes:L.A.'s salsa funk band La Verdad; hip-hop, reggaeton, cumbia music artist La Doña; Afro fusion dance and music by Extra Ancestral; powerhouse lineup of all-female DJs; and midnight countdown art show projected on Los Angeles City Hall.
