Sánchez underlines Spain's support for the UN in its defence of human rights

The President of the Government of Spain reaffirmed that "Spain wants to contribute to building bridges and strengthening a climate of trust between states and between regional groups. A reflection of this commitment is that Spain has increased its voluntary contribution to the defence of human rights in 2021, with a contribution amounting to €2.75 million. Spain has presented its candidature to the Human Rights Council for the period 2025-2027.
