ABK Distributes Iftar Meals and Food Aid Boxes as Part of its Ramadan CSR Initiative

Al Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) launched a charitable initiative on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. Sager Albenali, Acting Chief Communications Officer at ABK, was pleased to announce that ABK had once again collaborated with the Kuwait Red Crescent Society during the holy month of Ramadan this year to provide hundreds of iftar meals and food aid boxes in various areas of Kuwait.

The Bank's charitable and humanitarian initiatives reflect its keenness to strengthen relationships and actively give back to all members of society, especially those in need. ABK firmly believes that these initiatives encapsulate the true essence and spirit of Ramadan.

The Bank witnessed active participation from ABK employee volunteers who were excited to distribute the iftar meals and food aid boxes across several densely populated areas in Kuwait. Expressing his content, the Acting Chief Communications Officer said, "We are pleased to instill the spirit of volunteerism amongst employees by offering a helping hand."

Albenali continued, "This program, which was newly launched at the beginning of the holy month this year, embodies the Bank's goals which go beyond financial support to investing in charitable initiatives."

This ensures continuity in supporting families and individuals in need which reflects ABK's leadership in social responsibility and its active role in engaging with society during various occasions. The Bank endeavors to contribute to sustainable development which serves as a guide for all our activities.

The holy month of Ramadan is a time that brings people together and is a perfect opportunity to give back and participate in good deeds. This initiative therefore paved the way to achieve this and put a smile on people's faces.
