Councillor Chloe Robertson, North Ayrshire Young People's Champion commented: "The Young Scot Awards is one of the country's most notable award ceremonies for young people.

"To have the accolade is a fantastic way to recognise the inspiring young people we have here in North Ayrshire, and it is a brilliant way for them to stand-out when progressing from school into further education or into the workplace and put young community groups on the radar of external funders.

"So, I would encourage anyone who hasn't done so already to nominate the young people they know who deserve to be recognised as if they're lucky enough to win, it will not only put them in the spotlight but will also highlight North Ayrshire as a place where young people can thrive and realise their full potential.

"Good luck to all of our nominees this year, I have no doubt that the stories and successes of our young people will really stand out and fingers-crossed we'll soon be able to celebrate multiple winners!"

Free to enter, the successful nominees will be invited to the ceremony in Glasgow later this year.
