Nissan appoints Andrew Humberstone as Oceania Managing Director

MELBOURNE, Australia - Nissan has announced the appointment of Andrew Humberstone as Managing Director of Nissan Oceania.

Andrew joins Nissan's Oceania operation after having led Nissan Great Britain as Managing Director for the previous 4 years. During that time, he has successfully driven business transformation and growth, and has championed DEI at both a UK and regional level. He oversaw a pivotal shift in network strategy, with significant improvements made in the quality of customer service and representation in the UK.

Andrew has more than 30 years' experience in the automotive industry having previously headed Nissan's Independent Markets in Europe after joining Nissan Europe in May 2019.

Andrew replaces outgoing Managing Director Adam Paterson, who will be returning to Nissan Americas and will be subject to a separate announcement. Andrew's appointment is effective Monday 1 April 2024. He will report to Leon Dorssers, Senior Vice President Marketing and Sales, Nissan AMIEO.

"Andrew's arrival at Nissan Oceania coincides with our plans for the brand's continued transformation and growth in the region," said Mr Dorssers.

"Andrew brings to our Oceania team strong experience and knowledge as we focus on delivering a flawless customer experience. He takes the reins from Adam Paterson, who has successfully guided our Oceania operation since 2021 and built strong foundations for the years to come."
