Elected Officials Join in Supporting CIR/SEIU's Fight for A Fair Contract at NYC Health + Hospitals

More than 60 elected officials throughout New York have signed onto a letter by Sen. Jessica Ramos calling on Mayor Adams to reach a fair contract with the thousands of resident physicians and fellows at the city's public hospitals who provide frontline care to NYC communities every day, and who have been without a contract since 2021. These healthcare professionals carry the weight of the city's health- and many of them can't pay for rent or food. This is not good for anyone. They are simply asking for a fair contract with the resources they need to care for our patients. It's time the mayor listens. Read the letter here!
