Ann Marie Prohaska to lead Commerce Bank Real Estate Lending following Jeff Gerner’s retirement

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Commerce Bank has been recognized by Ingram's as one of its 2023 Corporate Champions. The award celebrates companies who display exceptional philanthropic leadership within the Kansas City region.

Commerce Bank was selected for this award, in part, because of its long-held commitment to support its neighbors, team members and customers by focusing on what matters most. Not only does the bank make an impact through philanthropic donations, but Commerce looks for meaningful opportunities to connect with our community at large.

"Commerce Bank has a long history of reinvesting in the communities in which we live and work," said Kevin Barth, chairman and CEO, Commerce Bank - Kansas City. "Our philanthropic efforts and the volunteerism demonstrated by our team members are all part of our culture, making up who we are as an organization. We are proud and appreciative of Ingram's recognition of Commerce as a 2023 Corporate Champion."

Commerce was honored at a luncheon December 11, where in addition to Corporate Champions, Ingram's also recognized its Local Heroes and Philanthropist of the Year.

A complete list of this year's honorees is featured in Ingram's December 2023 Philanthropy issue.
