Three Discovery Inspires Next Generation of Innovators at Burford School

Over 400 young minds at Burford School in Marlow were treated to an engaging day of learning in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), as part of its programme of events to mark its STEM week, thanks to Three Discovery.

Three Discovery delivers free digital skills training courses to communities, businesses and individuals that were being digitally excluded from society. Last year it delivered 900 workshops (in person and online) nationwide including more than 72 in the Buckinghamshire and Berkshire area.

With a commitment to fostering curiosity and creativity, Three Discovery delivered an immersive experience that captivated students' imaginations. From making videos using a green screen to crafting stop-motion masterpieces with Lego, the day was brimming with hands-on activities that seamlessly blended fun and learning.

Mrs Marshall, Headteacher at Burford School said, "Thanks to Three Discovery, the children had a fantastic and engaging day with a variety of STEM activities. The students made videos about microplastics, set up Lego to make stop motion videos about mountains, and used a green screen to make videos about Crime and Punishment throughout history."
