Lane Closures Planned at Night Next Week for I-95 Permanent Reconstruction at Cottman Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia

King of Prussia, PA - The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that overnight construction activities next week will reduce Interstate 95 from three lanes-to-two lanes in each direction through the ongoing permanent reconstruction project at the Cottman Avenue Interchange in Northeast Philadelphia.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Tuesday, September 19, through Thursday, September 21, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on northbound and southbound I-95 at the Cottman Avenue Interchange for bridge reconstruction.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time for travel through the work area because significant backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
