Sumo Group nominated for five MCV/Develop Women in Games Awards

The nominations for the 2023 MCV/Develop Women in Games Awards are in and we're thrilled to see five women from across Sumo Group shortlisted in several award categories.

Held annually, the MCV/Develop Women in Games Awards recognise and celebrate the amazing female talent working in the UK games industry.

For Sumo Digital studios, Audrey Profit, UE4/UI Programmer at The Chinese Room has been nominated for Development Impact; Michelle Chapman, Technical Design Director at Sumo Sheffield, has been nominated for Career Mentor and Essi Suurkuuka, Lead Programmer at Lab42 Games, has been nominated for Technical Innovation.

Sumo Group sees a pair of nominations, with Esha Mahadkar at Secret Mode nominated for Games Campaigner and Karen McLoughlin, Group Director of HR at Sumo Group, nominated for In-house HR and Recruitment Impact.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on Wednesday the 1^st of March 2023.
