‘Garnished with Good’ with Ketel One

Ketel One is one of our premium vodka brands: created in 1983 by the Nolet Family that has never compromised on quality or exceptional flavour in over 300 years. Crafted in copper potstill batches in combination with modern distilling techniques, every batch of Ketel One is approved by a member of the family to this day.

And Ketel One isn't just committed to the flavour and quality of the liquid, but to also supporting local communities where it can. Their Garnished with Good initiative encourages bartenders to champion positive change in their communities through Ketel One cocktails. Whether this is using garnish grown in a community garden, donating a meal to a local food bank when select Ketel One cocktails are bought, or sourcing produce from local farmers: Ketel One is encouraging bartenders to think beyond the drink.

Most recently as part of Garnished with Good, Ketel One partnered with Paradiso Bar in Barcelona, currently the #1 bar in the World by 50 Best Bars², on their Sustainability Summit in March 2023. The summit brought together leading bartenders and bar owners to share ideas and tools to embed more sustainable practices in the drinks industry. Throughout the three days, attendees took part in tree planting, inspirational master classes on more sustainable practices in the bar, and a beach clean that collected 41kg of rubbish in just 40 minutes.

What stood out was each bar's different way of approaching sustainability that shows the breadth of opportunities we can all tap into.
