Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:
APPLICANT: Ferry Community Corporation
PROJECT NAME: ADL 416362
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: The proposed public utility easement is located in the community of Ferry, approximately 10 miles north of Healy.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Fairbanks Meridian Township 10 South, Range 8 West, Sections 15-16, 21-22, & 28.
REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Ferry Community Corporation has applied to renew a public utility easement for existing telephone line on state land. No new development or construction is planned. The proposed public easement is comprised of five segments, approximately 12,160 feet long by 10 feet wide, encompassing a total of approximately 2.79 acres.
REQUESTED TERM: Perpetuity or no longer needed.
DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: October11, 2024
The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 3700 Airport Way, Fairbanks, AK 99709 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above.
