Administrator Samantha Power’s Meeting with President of the Ford Foundation Darren Walker

Today, Administrator Samantha Power spoke with Darren Walker, the President of the Ford Foundation. They discussed progress on the Democracy Delivers initiative launched by Administrator Power and Secretary of State Antony Blinken at the 2022 UN General Assembly, and opportunities to partner in support of countries experiencing democratic openings, including at the upcoming UN General Assembly.

They also discussed the Integrity for Development Campaign, which is working to increase donor resources for anti-corruption, especially in environments where the international community is making major development investments, such as in climate finance. The Ford Foundation is one of USAID's key partners.
