Theth, The “Mountain Package” provides new support for local investors who want to develop their ancestral land

Mountain tourism and investments for its revitalization continue to remain a priority, now reinforced with a new package of support for investments in these areas, which will pave the way for intensive development, through the encouragement of local investors, who want to invest their savings from emigration in the lands of their ancestors.

Prime Minister Edi Rama met today in Theth with managers of guesthouses, from where he also announced the newest policy.

"When I say that God made Albania on Sunday when it was a holiday, whoever doesn't believe it, should come here to Theth to see where he placed the first mark when he started the painting from top to bottom, what a magic! Here I am today with the vanguard of Albania 2030, here in Theth. Now we are here offering a solemn handshake, that on June 30, everyone here will have in their hands the ownership of the long-awaited property that they have inherited from their great-grandparents."

On June 30, the houses of the ancestors, those that were built afterward and are in the process of being legalized will have their ownership certificates and meanwhile the Mountain Package will be ready.

The Mountain Package will include a series of measures for all those who have left these mountains in search of a better life, to return and together with the beauty of these mountains to succeed, make a good living, and "Leave their children an extraordinary wealth"- said the Prime Minister in the conversation with them.

The Prime Minister explained the new package: "The new package of support for investments in these mountains will pave the way for all those who have left these mountains in search of a better life and who have worked without rest and who have saved money to invest their savings in the lands of the ancestors with complete ease, without having the endless troubles of procedures, and with a powerful support, in terms of granting permits to reopen the houses of the ancestors to build agro-tourism, to earn much more than what they earn from the tiring work in the service of others in foreign countries, thanks to the millions and millions of tourists who are coming in Albania giving much more work for the entire country's production chain and, above all, much more pride for Albania."
