State Police investigate fatal car-pedestrian crash in Queensbury...

On April 16, 2024, State Police of Queensbury responded to the area of Big Boom Road in Queensbury, NY, for the reports of a person struck by a vehicle.

On April 16, 2024, at about 8:40 p.m., Troopers responded to the area near the intersection of Main Street and Big Boom Road in Queensbury, NY, for the reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle suffering from severe injuries. The vehicle involved was witnessed fleeing the area and is described as possibly a dark-colored sedan with front end or undercarriage damage. The 47-year-old local woman struck was rushed to Glens Falls Hospital, where she was declared deceased. The investigation into the vehicle and it's operator is ongoing.
