The National Park Service seeks comments for a wetlands statement of findings

Tupelo, Miss.- The National Park Service (NPS) seeks public comment on a wetlands statement of finding (WSOF) for a revetment project for bank stabilization of Lindsey Creek at a pipeline crossing Natchez Trace Parkway near Clinton, Mississippi. The WSOF outlines the process of mitigating adverse effects to wetlands associated with construction of the revetment, which will be installed to protect the three pipelines that cross Lindsey Creek.

Comments will beaccepted from April 5, through April 18, 2024, and mailed comments will need to be postmarked by April 18th. Comments received during the public comment period will be used to help evaluate issues and concerns to be further addressed in the WSOF.
