BUCKEYE, AZ (September 27, 2023): The Buckeye Police Department Pink Patch Project to support breast cancer awareness has kicked off early! Our online store for pink patch gear is now live and accepting orders at www.buckeyeaz.gov/pinkpatch.
During the month of October, Buckeye police sell special edition pink uniform patches, coins and t-shirts to raise money for those fighting breast cancer. All proceeds from this fundraiser go to Bosom Buddies of Arizona supporting breast cancer survivors, education and awareness.
Buckeye police officers are also showing their support for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month by wearing the pink patches on their uniforms all month long. BPD joins hundreds of public safety agencies around the world participating in the Pink Patch Project to raise awareness and funding for breast cancer research, treatment and care. The project also educates the public about early detection and prevention.
This year, we are excited to unveil a new t-shirt design featuring the iconic pink ribbon to show your support for this great cause. These items sell out fast, so place your order today at www.buckeyeaz.gov/pinkpatch
