Modernizing the Municipal Center

The Township's plan to upgrade, expand, and improve the Municipal Center recently received a financial boost.

The Board of Supervisors on December 8 officially accepted a $1.25 million Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program Award from the Commonwealth for the Municipal Center Modernization project.

The project aims to modernize the building, which opened in 1991. Work is slated to include expansion of the side parking lot, as well as modern makeover of the entire facility.

Improvements include expanded Customer Service operations, bringing easier access for residents and others doing business in the Township. There is also a focus on adding programmable spaces, including an overhaul of an existing room and the addition of two more.
