Seeds and Seedlings - 2024 Plant Program at Library
The Fort Morgan Public Library's 2024 Plant Program will be a "drop-in" event on Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Stop in any time during those hours to the Library's Howard Rollin Memorial Community Room, where we invite you to Swap, Adopt, Chat, & Craft.
We will also have the unveiling of our new "Seed Library." So what is a seed library? It's simply a place where you can "check out" seeds for free. The seeds come from the backyards of local gardeners who collect, save, and donate seeds in the Fall, and from folks willing to donate seed packets.
Swap: Share some plants, seeds or loose cuttings. Please label your disease-free plants and seeds.
Adopt: Take home a plant start or some seeds.
Chat: Stay a while to visit with other garden and plant enthusiasts. Share your knowledge and learn from others.
Craft: Paint a mini clay pot to take home with you.
