HKU Faculty of Education ranks 7th in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject 2024

As announced on April 10, 2024, the Faculty of Education at The University of Hong Kong ("HKU") is ranked seventh globally in the latest QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024. This marks the Faculty's continuous presence in the top ten of the QS rankings by subject for ten consecutive years.

Performance indicators were used to assess the universities, with weighting recalibrated for each subject. For the education subject, the indicators and their weightings are as follows: 1) academic reputation (50%); 2) employer reputation (10%); 3) citations per paper (20%); and 4) H-Index (20%). With an overall score of 88.3, the Faculty performed well across all criteria, showcasing its well-rounded achievements.

This remarkable achievement reflects the exceptional contributions of our staff, students and alumni. We will continue to provide high-quality education and produce top-notch research in future, striving to lead the study and practice of education."
