Manatū Wāhine Ministry for Women congratulates Erin Roxburgh who has been selected to join the official New Zealand Government delegation as the non-governmental delegate to the sixty-ninth session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69) from 10 - 21 March 2025.
The Commission on the Status of Women is the highest-level annual international forum on gender equality and women's empowerment.
The main focus of CSW69 will be to review 30 years of global progress on implementing the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action and the outcomes of the 23rd special session of the General Assembly. The 69th session will also assess the current challenges to the achievement of gender equality and women's empowerment, and the realisation of 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Thank you to our independent panel for your hard work in reviewing and selecting the NGO delegate and supporting New Zealand's participation in CSW69.
