Finland and a number of other top countries in quantum technology have launched a portal for cooperation. The portal provides information on collaboration opportunities between the countries in quantum technology, especially in doctoral degrees, advanced studies and visitor exchanges.

The countries launching the portal are the Netherlands, Australia, the United Kingdom, Japan, Canada, France, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark and the USA. With interest in quantum technology increasing, many countries are contemplating their own strategies.

InstituteQ is responsible for Finland's participation in the portal. InstituteQ is a network based on voluntary cooperation of Aalto University, University of Helsinki, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, certain other universities and research institutes and companies.

Earlier this year, Finland and the United States signed a statement on cooperation in quantum technology. Quantum technology is also one of the priority areas in the cooperation statements agreed by Finland and the states of Colorado and Texas.
