Kelly, Sinema Announce More Than $2.5 Million in Historic Preservation Funds Coming to Arizona to Protect Natural Resources, Tribal Culture & Traditions

Historic Preservation funds awarded to the state and 10 Tribal nations across Arizona

Arizona Senators Mark Kelly and Kyrsten Sinema announced a total of $2,555,471 in Historic Preservation Funds coming to the state of Arizona and 10 Tribal nations throughout the state.

The Historic Preservation Funds-administered by the National Park Service-support a range of programs and projects to preserve Arizona's cultural resources and history.

"Preserving our history is crucial as it serves as a testament to our state's rich heritage," said Kelly. "This investment not only honors our past but also ensures that future generations can continue to learn from and cherish Arizona's diverse traditions and history."

"Arizona's rich, diverse culture and history are part of what makes our state so great. I'm proud to deliver this investment to preserve our traditions, landmarks, and resources for generations to come," said Sinema.

10 Tribal nations across Arizona will receive a total of $1,326,297, and the state of Arizona will receive $1,229,174. Below is a breakdown of the investments for Tribal nations:
