NASUWT comments on the General Election result for Scotland

NASUWT - The Teachers' Union congratulates new Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the Labour Party as they form the next UK government.
Dr Patrick Roach, NASUWT General Secretary, said:

"The UK has voted for change after 14 years of damaging cuts to public services and living standards in Scotland and across the UK.

"The commencement of a new government is a much-needed opportunity to address critical issues affecting all parts of the UK.
"The new Government in Westminster must now deliver for the people of Scotland with a New Deal for working people and families."
