Burin Peninsula RCMP investigates break and enter and theft from Aylward's Home Hardware building in Marystown

Burin Peninsula RCMP is investigating a break and enter and theft from The Source, located inside the Home Hardware, in Marystown on Valentine's Day.

Police received a report of a break in which occurred at 10:00 p.m. on February 14, 2023 at the Aylward's Home Hardware on Ville Marie Drive. A lone suspect had broken the glass of the front door to gain entry to the building. Approximately $12,000.00 in merchandise was stolen. The stolen merchandise includes multiple iPhones and gaming systems. The systems are Sony PlayStation 5.
