Students and graduates from UWE Bristol took home the top prize in four categories of the RTS West of England Student Awards held at Watershed in Bristol on 4 March 2024.
In the Animation category, all four shortlisted nominees were from UWE Bristol, with the prize going to 'Doggerland' by Michael Blake, who studied BA Animation.
Corinna Elleschild, Ellis Cate, Louis Barron-Forde, Charlie Guy-Wilson, Ilectra Zaloni, Tommy Hepp, Eve Morris, Andy Langley, and Nick Curtis-Purnell won the Drama category with 'Skive'.
In the Saving the Planet category the winners were Tristan Patrick Sherfield, Alex Stevenson, Maurice A Wren, Robert Loud, Damien Fowler, and Greg Holden for their work 'Forgotten Fibre'.
'Shmelvis' by Bella Considine, Amy Smith, Fin Bromham, Emily Cavell-Griffiths, Pierre Antoine-Perichon, and Niall Power, took the top spot in Entertainment and Comedy Drama.
In addition, UWE Bristol School of Arts students won a further 12 Craft Awards:

Drama:

Einstein's Brain: Production Design - Christopher Lewin, Myla Morris, Cinematography - Ben Murphy
